==/\== Corridor Deck 2 USS Chimera ==/\== Athena was walking to her quarters to rest a bit in the hopes that would help with her headache which seemed to be getting worse with every step she took. She wasn't paying much attention to where she was going when she bumped into some one. "Oh, I'm sorry," she said as she looked at whom she bumped into. When she saw that it was Rangi an odd pleasing look passed over her features. "Whoh...Athena!" Rangi stepped back, "Sorry...didnt see you." She smiled at her friend. "No, no; It was my fault," Athena responded. She winced slightly with the pain that shot through her head and took a deep breath. Athena quirked her lips into a smile and asked, "You wouldn't happen to have something to help with a headache would you?" Rangi frowned, taking in the pale face that showed signs of pain. "Actually...yes." she replied reaching to the medcase slung on her shoulder."You've had it for a while?' Athena leaned her head one direction and then the other to relieve some of the tension in her neck to help with the headache. "Ummm.... a couple of days, I guess. Not bad at first and although resting doesn't seem to be helping much that is what I was on my way to do." Her words started to ramble on and on as she lost track of what the question had been. "I just thought when I saw you that if you had something that maybe I could..." She paused breifly and looked at Rangi blinked a couple of times and asked, "I did answer your question didn't I?" Rangi gave Athena a quick glance, pausing in loading the hypospray she had taken from her case. "Yes you did" she replied "Are you sure theres nothing else bothering you beside the headache? You seem a bit...vague." She thought back to her own recent experience in the temporary sickbay. It had shaken her more than she liked.Looking at Athena, Rangi wondered if she too had had a similar thing happen. "Quite honestly I can't even think through the beating of my own head anymore," she said with the slightest of smiles. Her face paled with the strong thumping of her head. As she leaned into the wall a bit Athena continued, "I'm just glad I'm not far from my quarters." "I think you should go there. You could do with some rest by the look of you.Here...let me use this first.It should help in a few moments." She raised the hypospray and pressed it against Athenas neck. Athena tensed and winced as the sound of the hypo seemed to echo through her head. She leaned against the wall for a few moments with her eyes closed. It seemed like the medication was racing through her body and attacked what was causing the ache in her head like covering it with a blanket. She took a calming breath and eased away from the wall. "I think I be on my way," she said and took a step in the direction of her room. As if seeing Rangi for the first time she asked, "Are you all right? I mean you seem stressed, tense ... just not quite yourself." "Me?..oh, I'm ok." She saw Athenas expression and knew she wasnt believed. "Well...I had a strange experience a little while ago" she said. The two women began to walk along the corridor side by side. "I saw Scott come into the holdeck...where the temporary sickbay is?" She glanced at Athena to see if she was aware of the move. "He came right up to me..but didnt see me. I was...frozen..I couldnt move a muscle and felt as though I was suffocating. It was horrible" Rangi looked at the floor as she spoke. "Hmmm...," Athena said companionably as they continued to move closer to Athena's quarters. "That is odd." They stopped at Athena's door as she said, "Be sure you get some rest, too." Athena looked at the door and then at Rangi, "Would you like to come in for a drink," she asked and punctuated the end by covering a small yawn. "Thankyou...but another time. " Rangi smiled. "Go to bed..you'll sleep now I'm sure." She took a step back watching Athena tap in the code. "I could do with a rest myself." she said."I think it might be a while before we have the chance again."
